Early flight from Krasnoyarsk: why it's easier to arrive the night before
Your flight leaves at 6:10. To make check-in, you would have to leave home around 3 am: the airport is outside the city, roughly 30 km from the centre. The night falls apart — two or three hours of sleep, an alarm, a taxi in the dark.
There is a simpler way. Come to the airport in the evening and sleep in a capsule at GettSleep Krasnoyarsk, on the 2nd floor of Terminal 1. The hotel is landside, before security, so you don't need a boarding pass — walk in from the street as you would into any part of the terminal.
What it costs. At night an hour is 900 RUB. Six hours, 22:00 to 4:00, cost 5,400 RUB. In the morning you shower, leave the capsule and walk to check-in. No 3 am alarm, no drive across the city at night.
Landing at night: where to wait until morning at Krasnoyarsk Airport
Your plane lands at 1 am. The city is about 30 km away, and riding in just to sleep a few hours before a morning flight makes little sense. Sitting in a chair until dawn isn't much better.
What to do. Go up to the 2nd floor of Terminal 1 and look for the “Sleep & Shower” sign. After an international flight, follow the “Gates 1–13” signs from the arrivals exit, then take the stairs to the 2nd floor. The hotel is open 24/7, so checking in at 1 am is perfectly normal.
Example. 1:00 to 7:00 is six hours at the night rate: 5,400 RUB. In the morning there's a shower with gel and shampoo, and the desk gives you a towel and a toothbrush kit. You head into the city rested, in daylight.
Layover in Krasnoyarsk: how to spend 4–8 hours between flights
A five- or six-hour connection is too long for an airport chair and too short for a trip into the city. A capsule in the terminal fills that gap: sleep, shower, charge your phone.
One thing to know. The hotel is before security. To reach it you need to exit into the public area of the terminal, and you will go through security again before your next flight. Allow time for that, and check with your airline whether your connection lets you leave the departure area.
What it costs. In the daytime an hour is 700 RUB: three hours cost 2,100 RUB, five hours from 13:00 to 18:00 cost 3,500 RUB. If your layover runs into the evening, hours before 21:00 are charged at the daytime rate and hours after at the night rate: 19:00 to 23:00 comes to 3,200 RUB.
The capsule has a socket with USB-A and USB-C ports, a luggage compartment under the berth and a roll-down shutter. You can sleep properly and walk to security with a clear head.
Flight delayed in Krasnoyarsk: how to rest while you wait
Your departure has slipped by four hours. You can book a capsule from your phone while you're still at the departures board: pick a check-in time and a stay of 3 hours or more, pay by card, and go up to the 2nd floor.
Bookings run in 15-minute steps. Take exactly the time you have left before the new departure: 3 hours 15 minutes in the daytime cost 2,275 RUB, not the price of four full hours.
The time difference with Moscow: which clock to book by
Krasnoyarsk is 4 hours ahead of Moscow. Leave Moscow at 23:00 and you land early in the morning local time, while your body still thinks it's the middle of the night. A couple of hours in a capsule after that flight makes the first day much easier.
Check-in times on the site are local, in the hotel's time zone. The daytime rate runs from 9:00 to 21:00 Krasnoyarsk time and the night rate from 21:00 to 9:00. If in doubt, go by the clock on the booking page, not the Moscow time on your phone.
